Exploring Ancient and Modern Greece

Socrates famously said, “Wisdom begins in wonder.” A group of 21 Mounties, led by Professors Caitlin Faas and Carol Hinds, will spend much time in wonderment and pondering the words of Socrates, Plato and other Greek philosophers over the next 12 days as they participate in an intercultural studies tour of Greece, run by Education First.

Six current students, one 2018 graduate, several other alumni and family members are visiting Athens, Delphi, Olympia, Epidaurus, Mycenae, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini. Watch for blog and Instagram posts–and lots of pictures–from the Acropolis of Athens, the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, the Lions’ Gate at Mycenae, Knossos and other historic spots. #MSMUGreece2018
